Form: Assign Display Colors, Assign Output Colors
Use the Options menu > Colors > Display command to specify colors used by the program for on-screen display; use the Options menu > Colors > Output command to specify colors for printing to a color or monochrome printer.
Click the Options menu > Colors > Display or the Options menu > Colors > Output command to display the Assign Display Colors form or the Assign Output Colors form.
Use the options on the Assign Display Colors form to set colors for viewing the structural configuration, including joints, frames, shells, grids and the background.
Use the options on the Assign Output Colors form to set the colors for the analysis and design results.
On either tab, choose to set the colors for the screen and the printer.
Select screen or printer.
Change the colors by clicking the appropriate button on the form or by double clicking on the appropriate color.
Select a new color and click the OK button.
Click the Reset button to restore the SAP2000 defaults.
Click the OK button.
Note: The Default printer colors are set for a monochrome printer. Manually select the colors to print in color and check the Use Color Printer checkbox.
You may also use the Show Frame Section Thickness in Extruded Views check box to better view the thickness of various elements of a cross section. Extruded views can be set using the View menu > Set Display Options command.
